Services include permanent file archival, data package uploads, mailing lists, bug tracking, message boards/forums, task management, site hosting, and web-based administration. To get the most out of these tools, you may need to register as a site user. This will allow you to participate fully in the collaborative tools, though you may freely access the site and it's data without registering.
